This is a quirky character book about some of our founding fathers. It gave a brief summary of each person and what they did that was important in history. It also added a few fibs in there to keep kids interested, like Paul Revere working in a store that sold extra large underwear. In addition, the book has an activity in the back where it plays true or false with some of the facts given in the book.

He snuck off to tell Uncle Benny at the fire station when all of a sudden a plane crashes into the Twin Towers. For a while, he hung back at the station cleaning pots and pans, but when they called his Dad in Lucas knew he had to find him. He found his Dad in the mass of people, and saved a handful by hiding them in a convenience store. All of the firefighters seemed to come out unharmed, except Uncle Benny he never returned. That was until he showed up to a school football game that he watched with Lucas. In addition to the book the author added a note about why she wrote about this topic.
